The Gregg Williams Audio: Any argument pro-Saints is deceased

I wake up this morning all excited about the Masters, Opening Day, and going home for Easter…so I am in a really good mood. Then I go online and see this news about some audio with Gregg Williams.

Filmmaker Sean Pamphilon is working on a documentary about former Saint Steve Gleason who is suffering from ALS. Pamphilon was granted access to the meeting the day before that classic against the 49ers at Candlestick Park.

Here is the audio:

This really angers me to my core. I am sitting hear flabbergasted just thinking about all the asinine human beings out there who think Roger Goodell was too harsh on Williams, Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis.

The fact that Payton knew that things like tearing ACL’s, breaking ankles, pounding a player’s head, and even pounding one that already had a concussion was being preached by his defensive coordinator, is despicable to say the least. If Joe Paterno is guilty because he is Penn State football…Payton is too because he proclaims himself to be Saints football.

Those players who were in that meeting room and followed those orders should be suspended for half the season or more. While your opponent is your opponent, he is also your brother.

All I hear pro-athletes preach is about how they are all brothers and it is a fraternity…hypocrites! Those who smite Goodell for his decision are most likely the kind of people who never strapped on the helmet before. They never felt what it’s like to play with injury everyday and understand the toll it takes on your body.

To have someone intentionally try to strip you of your opportunity to shine at something you were put on this Earth to do is beyond barbaric.

So again, for all you out there who think Goodell is wrong and unfair, as Craig Carton would say, you are simply…STUPID!
